Day 1 & 2 in Washington

We left Home at 10:30 Eastern time and arrived in Seattle at 6:30 Pacific Time on Wednesday. Flights went well. Had a very short layover in Denver.

Yesterday was spent walking around Downtown Seattle. We had lunch at the Space Needle--it was good food and fun but expensive!! We also sat next to the guy who built the Needle. It was built in 1962. After lunch we walked around and took the MonoRail back to our hotel.

We rested our feet and watched tv before heading out to dinner with some people from the group we were with at Elliot's. We finally met Michelle, the woman I have been talking and planning with since January! Elliot's was way too expensive and didn't have many non-seafood options so that's a no-go if we ever go back to Seattle.

Our dessert (the Lunar Orbiter-served since the opening in '62)
